Our story
SILA Childcare was founded to give North Vancouver families high-quality, reliable child care that fits real working lives.
Why we started SILA
Families across Metro Vancouver often wait many months for a licensed child care space, and many centres do not offer the hours working parents need. We set out to build a centre that answers those needs: enriched early learning, flexible hours, healthy food and clear, open communication with families.
Our founding team combines hands-on experience running a home child care program since 2024 with many years of experience running and growing businesses. Before planning SILA, we also spoke directly with North Vancouver parents about what they want from child care.
